EXECUTIVE BOARD OPEN POSITIONS:
Foundation VP of Events/Program
Plans, coordinates, and executes major FSF events throughout the school year. Events include Kindergarten Playdate & Teacher Pre-Planning Luncheon (working with PTA in July/August), Meet and Greet (July/August), Curriculum Nights (August), Silent Auction via Committee Chairs (January), Kindergarten Open House (February), STEM Night via Committee Chair (Spring). *Foundation voting position *Reports to President
Our Treasurer is responsible for making bank deposits for the Foundation and duties include: set annual goals and budget, prepare and manage the budget process, create and update financial policies, contract with an external auditing firm, ensure tax documents are complete. Oversees financial transactions for fundraisers. *Foundation voting position *Reports to President
Writes and distributes minutes within 1 week after meetings and assists Foundation Board members with clerical needs (copies, etc.). *Foundation voting position *Reports to President
Foundation VP Family Investment
Manages donor database, statistics, and incentives and completes corporate matching gift forms upon receipt. Works with the Treasurer to track income. Works with Foundation VP Communications to create necessary materials. Manages donation table at Meet and Greet, Curriculum Nights. Manages Foundation bulletin board display. *Foundation voting position *Reports to President
Foundation VP Strategic Partner/Fundraising
Seeks business partnerships and corporate grants. Manage Fundraising Partnerships – IHOP & Zaxby’s Nights. Oversees Movie nights via Committee Chair, Birthday Marquee via Committee Chair, and Partners in Education via Committee Chair. *Foundation voting position *Reports to President
COMMITTEE CHAIR OPEN POSITIONS:
Organizes Foundation After School Time (FAST) programs, including coordination with vendors and promotion of programs, creation of FAST semester schedule. Facilitates FAST class surveys for all participants, each class, each semester. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
Partners in Education Coordinator
Assists in reaching new businesses for Foundation support. Manages existing business relationships. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
Lead STEM night committee in executing an event. Works with Foundation VP Events on event specifics, timelines, and budget. Work with Foundation & PTA VP Communications to prepare marketing materials for events. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
Distribute and collect yearly grant requests from K-5 grades, Focus, Speech, Specialists, ALP, SID/PID, DHH, EIP, and Counselors. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
Shares information about and organizes Invention Convention for our school. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
Manages Teacher Time/Talent auction and Adult Night Out auction. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
Maintains open knowledge, collaboration, and communication between the FSF and PTA. Attends FSF Board meetings and PTA Board meetings. *Non-voting position *Reports to President
